Alright, let’s do this.
Whew. What a terrible quarter. A day longer and I think I might have lost it. I’d better not fail anything.
Anyway! Now that summer’s finally here, I can start updating this thing properly. I think I’ll start …now.
A few things on the agenda today, boys and girls.
- New section! In case you haven’t already noticed, there’s a new category for you to peruse - Food! Yes, food. Isn’t it the best? Yeah. It’s the best. So - what can you expect from it?
- Mike’s Signature Recipes (Why should I be stingy? Now you can bring me into your kitchen any day of the week! Y’know, assuming you’ve got the ingredients and/or a place for me to crash. Being in college doesn’t mean you have to eat ramen noodles every day.)
- Promotional Food Reviews (Because there’s no denying that seeing ads for new stuff at your favorite restaurants makes you wonder. You can trust me. I won’t make you get off your ass unless it’s worth it.)
- New feature coming soon to this category - Sweetness Spotlight! Each month, I’ll do a brief profile on an individual from my personal life that really kicks ass at what they do. Think of it as recognition networking - but with more blushing. Don’t let it go to your head.
- In gaming, expect a more up to date flow of news. I’ll sort through the nerdy blogs so you don’t have to and share the important breaking news as it comes to my attention. There’s a lot of really stupid shit out there - sorry kids with metal plates strapped to your heads, but I don’t care about Japan-only games with sentences for titles, anime games, cosplay, or anything that *shudder* involves all three. Try not to get hit by lightning. We stick to Nintendo around here, and we stick to the big guns. I’ll keep stories relatively brief and to the point so it not only caters to your busy lifestyles, but keeps me from having to write novels like the Smash article again. Yikes. That said, I’ll be happy to clarify any questions you may have in the comments section.
