Where does all my free time go? Maybe I’m not the dorky blogging loner I thought I was. I’ll make this brief so’s I can catch some shut eye.

What a closer for the Smash Week! A new stage normally wouldn’t be this exciting, but wowza - the newest addition to the smash arenas, Lylat Cruise, is nothing short of awesome. It’s a standard, Battlefield-style stage (One large lower platform, 3 small upper platforms) - but at the risk of sounding like a real estate agent, what makes this place is the LOCATION. Or locations, rather. As it’s name would suggest, it’s a cruise of sorts - but don’t expect shuffleboard - it’s a ride atop the spacecraft Pleiades as it travels in and out of Corneria’s atmosphere and the asteroid-ridden space battle raging in depths of space surrounding it. I can already see myself demanding a temporary truce just to take in the madness surrounding the fight - or perhaps taking a moment to scratch my head over the lack of space suits and/or the abundance of gravity.

Ladies and gents, I officially have a successful character prediction under my belt. Granted, it’s not a huge shocker. In a surprise move, Sakurai decided to unveil a previously unconfirmed character before all the known ones were given profiles. Princess Zelda has made the roster, leaving us wondering - will Sheik be along for the ride? Will “Dude Zelda” transcend her transformation status and become a separate character selection? Can Sakurai go grocery shopping without being held at gunpoint and forced to spill the beans? I digress. Zelda’s looking sharp in her Twilight Princess garb - but she still seems to be the floaty, magic-spamming be-hotch we’ve grown to know and love… at least until a couple seconds into the match when anyone playing as her switches to Sheik.
Bippity boppity, gimme the zoppity.
