Such a love, hate relationship the Dojo and I have. I want more juicy tidbits, but I want to update about something other than Smash. The weekend is here (at least for me), so keep your eyes open for some other content soon. In the meantime…
Nevermind my tardiness on the first of the two updates I’ll be dissecting, it’d be a bigger deal if either of the updates were, well - a bigger deal. Let’s get into it.
Yesterday’s update, while kind of “shrug, hmm, anyway” is the more interesting of the two. In addition to trophies, we’ll all be collecting… you guessed it. Stickers. Sounds a little elementary school initially, but I have to give props to Sakurai & Co. for actually taking the time to collect just about all the concept art and sprites from just about every previous first-party Nintendo title in memory to make them. Apparently, they’re easier to come across than trophies and will be placed in a sticker book to gaze upon later - a shout out to the current scrapbooking trend that’s sweeping the country and the wallet of every mother that lives in it
Oooh! I hope it’s an alien head! That’d look so sweet on my Trapperkeeper.
Today’s update was, well - not any more exciting. At all. In fact it’s something we already knew. Blah. Oh well.
Guess what?! Characters with whip-like weapons can use a technique called Tether Recovery! …Y’know, like Samus and Sheik have been doing all along. Yawn. I guess the only real point of interest here is trying to figure out who else might have such a move - it’d have to be a solid handful if they made a separate technique page for it …right? Sigh. Here’s to hoping we end on a high point tonight.
Thank god, the bitch is dead. Wai-what? Sticky lasers?! You hack.
