Strangers on the internet call me Miketendo.

For as long as I’ve been able to pick up a pencil, I’ve been obsessed with creating art that makes people feel good. That, and everything Nintendo. Hence the nickname.

Whether it be a fun character, an eye-catching design, or an interactive experience, I love to surprise and delight audiences. I’ve been fortunate enough to do so professionally for over 18 years in the Chicago area, where I live with my wife and two cats.

When I’m not waxing philosophical about art to colleagues, friends and very patient loved ones, odds are I’m busy geeking out about games, animation, craft beer or hot sauce.
